Tehran, Jan 19 - (IRIB) - Management and Planning Organization has earmarked a sum of rls 50 billion for promoting tourism in the next Iranian year of 1383 (to start on March 20).
The Management and Planning Organization (MPO) said on Sunday the sum, if approved by Majlis, will be spent on upgrading necessary infrastructures for the lucrative tourism business and the Iran Touring and Tourism Organization's development projects n ext year.
The credit will be partially for improvement of tourism infrastructures on the coasts of northern Caspian Sea and northwestern Orumieh Lake and Arasbaran, a region in northwestern West Azarbaijan province.
