At the end of last week, I heard the news about the arrestment of couple of Iranian cyber journalists and it is said that a film maker has been arrested due to his son's political articles and columns at his weblog. I forwarded the news to anyone I could
Last Thursday, I went to see mousavi lari (minister of internal affairs) to talk to him especially about the family detention issues. He promised to take action about these cases. In that meeting we discussed the issue in detail. Some of are friends referred to a story that was very interesting. They said that Mousavi Ardebilli (former general prosecutor in 1980s) told a memory to a newspaper which was published 3 or 4 years ago. He said that when Dr Beheshti was the head of judiciary and Mousavi Ardebili was general prosecutor, after the dismissal of Bani Sadr (First Iranian President) by parliament, and in that dark age of terrorism, the wife of Bani Sadr was arrested. Mr. Beheshti called the officials and asked: why she is arrested? They said: we could reach Bani Sadr from this way. Mr. Beheshti said that we have problem with Bani Sadr, his wife is innocent. The officials in the prosecutor’s office resisted and did not obey. Late martyr Beheshti said if you don’t release her, I will go to the jail and will say that arrest me instead of her, thus she who is innocent in Bani Sadr’s case don’t stay in jail anymore and the family detention don’t commit in Islamic Republic.
The Ideal of founders of Islamic Republic was this and still it is. They have promised Mosavi Lari and me to release the detainees, although they rarely keep their promise.
Attacks on news websites and (arrestments of) cyberjouralists have caused a lot of disturbance. But they are not giving up their goal. Not after all of the tough situations they have been through.

President Khatami was not in the office due to an official trip. Otherwise he could have unofficially helped to...calm matters.
It’s not easy to be a middle man, between a group of bloggers and a group who view bloggers as the enemies of the Islamic society. Although, I’m certain about the negative results my thoughtfulness toward the young bloggers is going to bring upon me, I'm happy to hear their voice.
After all, family detention is one of the worst moral, social, and religious actions.
